Description

The 10K race kicks off our Rocket City Race Weekend series of races at 7AM on Saturday morning. It starts in front of the Von Braun Center and runs through historic Huntsville and finishing at the same exciting indoor finish line Rocket City Marathon has had the last several years. Registered participants will receive a super awesome registration shirt. Finishers will receive an epic medal! If you complete any TWO events you will receive a special “Challenge” gift. Complete THREE events, known as the “Hat Trick” (10K, 5K and either a half or full marathon), and you will receive….wait for it…a HAT! But not just any old hat, a super awesome amazing hat-trick hat!

Course Certification

The course is certified. This map is zoomable, and you can turn on mile markers by clicking on the layer symbol and selecting “Distance Markers.”

Prizes

Awards may be collected at the awards table in the South Hall after the results are certified (up to an hour after the winner finishes).

There will not be an awards ceremony.

Prizes and awards will not be mailed.

The Top 3 Male and Female finishers in the following age groups will receive Rocket City 10k awards:

  • 0 – 9,

  • 10 - 14,

  • 15 - 19,

  • 20 – 24,

  • 25 – 29,

  • 30 – 34,

  • 35 – 39,

  • 40 – 44,

  • 45 – 49,

  • 50 – 54,

  • 55 – 59,

  • 60 – 64,

  • 65 – 69,

  • 70 – 74,

  • 75 & up
